She's far too quiet and Ethan has to carry the podcast (this criticism can be expanded to H3 videos in general, but I won't go off topic). Hila is not remotely entertaining, I'm sure she's a lovely person but she does not make for a good podcast host. And don't even get me started on how badly Ethan takes criticism despite his YouTube career being based off criticising people.

He regularly goes on emotional rants about topics without having the full evidence in front of him (see: his new rant about Michael Jackson). And Ethan said it on purpose, unlike PewDiePie where it slipped out by mistake. Remember the PewDiePie n-word controversy? Ethan went on a huge rant dragging PewDiePie for it on the podcast, even though he's said the word himself. It's a lot.Įthan's rants during the podcast are usually hypocritical or misinformed. The amount of times I end up cringing as I watch Ethan trying to make a joke or show a video which the guest clearly doesn't find funny, or ask an uncomfortable question and make things uncomfortable for everyone. I watch sometimes because they have had some interesting guests like Bill Burr or Post Malone, but I can rarely get all the way through because it's just not enjoyable to watch. The H3 podcast is not a good podcast, and this is coming from someone who's been watching it on and off from the start.
